How To Determine The Size Of A Computer Monitor

Monitors come in different sizes. Much like the size of television sets, the size of a monitor is determined by measuring the length from the top right hand corner to the bottom left hand corner.

Monitors range in sizes of 12", 14", 15", 17", and 19" with a common monintor size ranging between 17 and 19 inches. Monitors are also characterized by the flatness of their screen. The flatter and wider the screen is, the higher the quality of the resulting image on screen.
